During 26 - 29 June 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized mobile consular services in Greenland at Hotel Hans Egede in Nuuk, the Capital of Greenland. Altogether 20 Thai nationals received services including passport service, legalization service, registry service, and consultation on consular matters.
H.E. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, took the opportunity to meet with Thai nationals who received the consular services and their families, and later shared a delicious Thai dinner with approximately 30 members of the Thai community. The Ambassador, together with the delegation from the Embassy, visited local businesses owned by Thai nationals, including a Thai massage and spa shop, Thai restaurants, and a Thai grocery store. They also visited Thai workers who were employed by local hotels and other restaurants. Moreover, the Ambassador hosted a thank you dinner for the representatives from the “Group of Thais in Greenland” for their long-standing cooperation with the Embassy, and their assistance in arranging a successful mobile consular service. The Ambassador further provided a financial subsidy of 5,000 DKK to the representative of the group to support future Thai community activities.
