On 31 March 2025, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana graciously appointed H.E. Air Chief Marshal Johm Rungswang, Privy Councillor, as Their Majesties’ representative to present the humanitarian assistance for the people of Myanmar. The relief items were received by H.E. Mr. Zaw Zaw Soe, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Thailand, at Military Airport 2, Wing 6, Royal Thai Air Force Command. The ceremony was also attended by Air Chief Marshal Phandpakdee Phattanakul, Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, and Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs.

The Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar expressed profound appreciation for the royal benevolence. The royal relief items included basic medicine kits, tents, dried food, and other essential supplies. The Royal Thai Air Force delivered the items to Nay Pyi Taw, Republic of the Union of Myanmar, early on 1 April 2025.
