On 5 April 2021, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony of Thailand - Canada photographic exhibition, “Take Your Seat Together,” by Mr. Randy and Mr. Spencer VanDerStarren, renowned Canadian photographers at ICONSIAM. The event was hosted by the Embassy of Canada in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Thailand – Canada diplomatic relations. In his remarks, Vice Minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the cordial ties and cooperative bilateral relations for over more than sixty years. He reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in various areas. He reiterated the importance of people-to-people ties, which provide strong foundation to strengthern the bilateral relations, and also hoped to connect peoples from both countries through arts and cultures.

The photographic exhibition, “Take Your Seat Together,” in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Thailand – Canada diplomatic relations is now on display from 1 – 30 April 2022 at ICONLUXE Pop Up Space, Floor 1, ICONSIAM. The exhibition showcases the photographs taken in Thailand and Canada which show similarities and connection between both countries.
