On 13 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, led the Thai Delegation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and private sector to meet with Mr. Paco Britto, Secretary of International Relations, Government of the Federal District/Brasilia, in Brasilia, Brazil.

During the meeting, the Thai delegation was briefed on the history of Brazil and Brasilia, including the urban planning and the establishment of Brasilia as the capital city. The city is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Both sides also exchanged views on urban management, which blends modernity with the preservation of the cultural heritage site.
