On 8 June 2022 H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand held a bilateral meeting with
H.E. Dr. Bisera Turković, Deputy Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the latter’s visit to Thailand as Guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 7-8 June 2022.

On this occasion, both sides discussed promoting cordial relations between the two countries in various areas, including tourism for which Thailand and Bosnia and Herzegovina have great potential. Moreover, both sides exchanged views on key international issues such as challenges in Eastern Europe and food security.

After the meeting, both sides signed the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Exemption of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic or Official/Service Passports of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Both sides also concurred that the visit and the signing of the Agreement contributed to enhanced engagements between the two countries. The visit of the Deputy Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the first high-level visit to Thailand in 15 years since 2007.
