On 22 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a pull-aside meeting with Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, on the sidelines of the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings, jn Manila, the Philippines.
Both sides welcomed the close bilateral relations between Thailand and Australia as strategic partners, reflected in wide-ranging areas of cooperation. They promoted more high-level engagements towards concrete outcomes. Both sides also exchanged views on the key regional developments.
