On February 26, 2025, H.E. Mr. Chittipat Thongprasroeth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Federal Republic of Germany, presented his letters of credence and the letters of recall for the previous ambassador to H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin, making him the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Ambassador engaged a constructive discussion with the Federal President on various topics related to the long-standing relationship over 163 years between Thailand and Germany, particularly comprehensive cooperation in economics, education, science, technology, innovation, tourism and people-to-people connections.
