On 21 November 2024, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, and Ms. Marinee Suwanmoli, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, attended the Bangkok Spanish Design Week 2024, in the area of Song Wat Road, which is one of Bangkok’s cultural-rich districts that blend tradition with modernity. This Bangkok Spanish Design Week 2024, which is a part of the cultural program of the Embassy of Spain in Thailand, launched its first edition and was organised by MESA312 Cultural Lab Bangkok in collaboration with the branding agency NOMON DESIGN.

The Bangkok Spanish Design Week 2024 aims to highlight the excellence of Spanish design and fosters a space for cultural exchanges between Thailand and Spain through exhibitions and talks. Art works from Spanish artists are shown at various locations in Song Wat Road such as Casa Formosa, CÉRÉMONIALE and Warehouse Song Wat. Interested visitors can attend the event during 21-24 November 2024, free of charge.
