On 30 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic visited the office of the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA) and had a meeting with Ms. Semiramis Paliou, President and Chairperson, Ms. Irene S. Daifas, General Secretary, Ms. Olga Stavropolou, Director General and Prof. Michael Scoullos, Advisor to the Board. The Ambassador received a briefing about HELMEPA and discussed the possibilities to establish cooperation with HELMEPA, including participation in HELMEPA’s public activities.

HELMEPA is an NGO with voluntary commitment of Greek seafarers and ship owners to safeguard the seas from ship-generated pollution.
