On 22 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kasemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to Greece, presided over the opening ceremony of the Panhellenic Muaythai Championships 2025 organised by the Panhellenic Muaythai Federation between 22 – 23 February 2025 at Olympic Center of Peristeri “G. Stefanopoulos”.

In his remarks at the opening ceremony, the Ambassador expressed his delightfulness to see many Greeks of all ages interested in practicing Muaythai and commended the organisation of this competition which were participated by 475 boxers between the age of 5 – 40 from around 150 Muaythai training centers in Greece. In addition, there were also Para-Muaythai competitions, Wai Kru and Muay Boran (ancient Thai Boxing) demonstration.
