On 23 July 2024, Mr. Bolbongse Vangphaen, Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary’, attended ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (ASEAN SOM) and Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon Free Zone Commission (SEANWFZ ExCom) in Vientiane, the Lao PDR, in order to prepare for the upcoming 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) and related meetings during 24-27 July 2024.
