Permanent Secretary and Ambassador of the State of Kuwait expressed their readiness to strengthen Thailand-Kuwait relations on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2023.

On 17 March 2021, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Husain M A Alfailakawi, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Discussing about the path towards the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Kuwait in 2023, they agreed to strengthen Thailand – Kuwait relations in various fields, especially in trade and investment and people-to-people relations. Moreover, both sides emphasised the importance of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) as an indispensable pillar of cooperation among countries in Asia.
