On 13 - 15 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mrs. Jiraporn Sudanich, Ambassador Attached to the Ministry, led a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to visit Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala Provinces. The visit aimed to engage with local government agencies and the civil society and stressed on the Ministry's role in advancing education and empowering Thai youth abroad, and fostering a better understanding in the international fora on the situation in the Southern Border Provinces (SBPs) of Thailand.

The delegation called on the Governor of Narathiwat, Governor of Pattani, Deputy Governor of Yala, as well as Secretary-General of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC), Fourth Army Area Commander, Mayor of the Yala Municipality, and Commissioner of the Provincial Police Region 9. In addition, the delegation met civil society groups including the LuukRieng Social Enterprise, to exchange views on ways to further develop youth's potentials and possible international cooperation.
