Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman to Pay an Official Visit to the Kingdom of Thailand

H.E. Mr. Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, is scheduled to pay an official visit to Thailand as guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 9 - 12 March 2019.

H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, will have a bilateral discussion with and host a luncheon in honour of the visiting Omani Minister on 11 March 2019. The visit aims to promote closer cooperation between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in the fields of rubberized road, agriculture, aquaculture, health and energy.

During the visit, the Omani Minister will also pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, have a bilateral discussion with the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, attend a presentation on “Rubberized Road Innovation,” conducted by representatives from the Rubber Authority of Thailand and the Department of Highways, Ministry of Transport, as well as visiting a rubberized asphalt factory and a natural rubber modified asphalt concrete road in Chachoengsao Province.
