On Saturday and Sunday, ๑๒ - ๑๓ January ๒๐๑๙, the Royal Thai Consulate-General together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Hong Kong Office and Team Thailand offices in Hong Kong organized the Thai Festival ๒๐๑๙ at The Olympian City, West Kowloon. The festival was to promote “Thainess”, especially Thai food, Thai food products, Thai Spa products, and Thailand tour packages. There were activities on stage including games (Q&A game, photo-matching game, and ASEAN countries name quiz), Thai performance (Khon), Muay Thai, drawing and painting activities, and Thai massage. This year “Amazing Thailand Festival ๒๐๑๙: Open to the New Shade” presented ๒ famous Thai restaurants in Hong Kong, Siam Garden Thai Restaurant and Bangkok Thai Restaurant. “Thai Aree”, “Green Day” and “Blue Elephant” Thai food products were also available at the event.

                   Mr. Asi Mamanee, Consul-General of Thailand, Mrs. Titiporn Manenate, Executive Director of East Asia Region of TAT, and Miss Sarima Chindamas, Director of TAT Hong Kong Office presided over the opening ceremony. Among the guests were representatives from Consulates-General of ASEAN countries in Hong Kong, Mr. Roger Wu, Hong Kong famous blogger of Thailandfan.com, Ms. Kelly Chan, Miss International Hong Kong ๒๐๑๖, along with “Mirror”, a popular Hong Kong boy band.
