H.E. Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, met with Mr. Peter Maurer, President of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), on 24 September 2018 at the sideline of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA73) in New York. Both sides discussed furthering cooperation between Thailand and ICRC as well as the work of ICRC at the regional level, especially during Thailand’s chairmanship of ASEAN in 2019.
