On 17 May 2018, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand.

          Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador of Nigeria on his assumption of duty, and expressed confidence on H.E. Ambassador to further strengthen the relations between Thailand and Nigeria. Both sides discussed ways and means to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the areas of trade and investment, agriculture as well as development cooperation with a view of enhancing existing friendship and tangible outcomes for the mutual benefits of the two countries.
