Following H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin’s re-election as President of the Russian Federation, H.E. Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Russian Federation as follows:

               On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend my most sincere congratulations on Your Excellency's re-election as President of the Russian Federation.
               Your decisive election results reflect the trust and confidence of the Russian people in your capability and wisdom. I am confident that, under your strong leadership and able guidance, the Russian Federation and its people will continue to prosper and that Thailand – Russia relations and cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest will be further enhanced.
               I look forward to continuing to work closely with you for the benefit of our two countries and peoples and wish you every success in all your endeavours.
