          The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Royal Thai Embassy in London, organized a Thai Cultural Roadshow in London during 21 – 28 February 2018. The Roadshow, led by Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Director – General of Department of Information, brought an outstanding Thai dance troupe from Banditpatanasilpa Institute under the supervision of its President: Mrs. Nipha Sophasamrith, to perform at the following events: 
          - On 22 February 2018, the cultural performances included the Flight of the Kinaree, the Sacrifice of Manora, and Khon (a Thai masked dance) episode “The Pursuit of Supanna Matcha” at the Great Hall of the British Museum, which was attended by over 300 spectators.
          - During 22 – 23 February 2018, the troupe staged cultural performances at the Orchids Festival 2018 at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This Festival was organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in London in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Thai Airways International PCL from 10 February to 11 March 2018.
          - On 26 February 2018, the troupe performed at the Orchids Festival 2018 Opening Ceremony which was graciously presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The ceremony was attended by over 300 British high level officials, diplomatic corps, businesspeople, as well as Friends of Thailand.
          The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sincerely hopes that the above-mentioned Thai Cultural Roadshow would help further deepen the already existing cordial ties between Thailand and the United Kingdom especially at the people-to-people level.
