Statement on
the Unilateral Declaration of Independence
by the Regional Parliament of Catalonia

                   The Royal Thai Government unequivocally respects and supports the territorial integrity and the sovereignty of Spain.

     We regard Catalonia as an integral part of Spain.

                   Thailand therefore supports the Government of Spain in its efforts to resolve this issue through dialogue with all relevant parties for the unity of Spain based on the rule of law and the constitution of Spain.
