On 29 March 2017, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, received a joint call from African Ambassadors/Chargés d’Affaires to Thailand at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. One of such activities is the holding of an event entitled ‘The Colours of Africa: Opportunity, Friendship and Cooperation’ on 17 – 19 July 2017 with an aim to increase the awareness of Africa’s vibrant cultures and numerous trade and investment opportunities.

During the meeting, African Ambassadors/Chargés d’Affaires to Thailand also expressed their appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the initiative in arranging annual visits of diplomatic corps to various provinces of Thailand to learn about His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s development projects. The Ambassadors/Chargés d’ Affaires were most grateful to have the opportunity to participate in the recent trip to the Chaipattana’s Vegetable Oil Refining and Bio-Diesel Integrated Production Plant and Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Park Sam Phraya in Phetchaburi Province graciously led by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 27 March 2017.
