His Excellency Rodrigo Roa Duterte, President of the Republic of the Philippines, will pay an Official Visit to Thailand from 20 to 22 March 2017 as Guest of the Royal Thai Government. This is the first official visit by President Duterte to Thailand following his appointment as the President of the Republic of the Philippines in June 2016. The purpose of this official visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between Thailand and the Philippines and to set the future direction in promoting relations between the two countries. During this visit, His Excellency the President of the Philippines will have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand at the Government House and meet with the Thai business sectors as well as the Filipino community in Thailand.
