On 24 November 2014, Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam led Team Thailand and family (Office of Defence & Military Attache, Office of the Naval Attache, Office of the Air Attache, Commercial Affairs Office and Thai Airways International Office) to participate in the annual Charity Bazaar organized by Hanoi International Women’s Club (HIWC) at the United Nations International School. 

 

            The HIWC Charity Bazaar is an annual event  which aims to raise funds to support many worthy causes in northern Vietnam as well as to showcase various countries’ food specialties and handicrafts.  Many embassies, international organizations and companies in Hanoi participated in this year’s charity bazaar.

 

            The Royal Thai Embassy set up stalls selling food and drinks as well as Thai silk scarfs and gifts.  Pad Thai, papaya salad, sticky rice, barbecue pork and chicken were cooked and sold at the event.  CP Cooperation also joined the event to sell its products.  Many visitors were in queue to taste Thai food.  The proceeds collected from the sales will be donated to HIWC for charitable causes.
