On the 7 August 2014, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, Mr. Abhirat Achalabun, Honorary Consul-general for Thailand in Tasmania, and Ms. Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary, met with representatives from Thai community in Tasmania, to promote strength and solidarity of the community. It also aimed to elucidate National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)’s reasons and strategy plans and to notify the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness in cooperation and supports for activities and projects of Thai community in Tasmania.
