On 10 July 2014, H.E. Mr. Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ambassador of Thailand to Brazil, hosted the Luncheon Meeting for  Mr. Cleber Pieres, President and board members of the Commercial Association of the Federal District of Brasilia. Ambassador exchanged views with members of the Association on the investment and business potential between Brazil and Thailand, especially the total trade volume of both sides reached more than 4 billion USD in 2013.  Ambassador had also explained the political situation in Thailand that there have been political developments with peace and stability and the business has run as usual. In addition, Ambassador exchanged various views on how to closely monitor economic relations between the two sides such as an exchange of visits by Thai and Brazilian business people in the fields of food and restaurants in the near future.
