H.E. Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, will pay an official visit to Thailand at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand as Guest of the Royal Thai Government in conjunction with the visit for the 35th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits from 2 to 5 November 2019.
On 5 November 2019, the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China is scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Government House. On this occasion, both sides will reaffirm the close Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries and set direction for the future course of relations as well as exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. After the meeting, they will witness the signing ceremony of agreements and memoranda of understanding in such areas as e-commerce, science and innovation, and media exchanges, to be followed by a luncheon hosted by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand in honour of the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
The Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China will also pay a courtesy call on the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives at the Parliament House.
H.E. Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, last visited Thailand in 2014 to attend the 5th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit.
