ระหว่างวันที่ ๕-๗ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๘ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้จัดหน่วยเคลื่อนที่ให้บริการกงสุลสัญจร ณ วัดพุทธสามัคคี เมืองไครสต์เชิร์ช โดยมีผู้มารับบริการทั้งจากเมืองไครสต์เชิร์ช และเมืองอื่น ๆ ของเกาะใต้ อาทิ เมืองควีนส์ทาวน์ เมืองทไวเซิล และเมืองเบลนิม และเขตใกล้เคียงมารับบริการกว่า ๑๓๓ คน โดยในจำนวนนี้ มีผู้ขอรับบริการทำหนังสือเดินทาง จำนวน ๗๑ ราย เอกสารเดินทางฉุกเฉิน จำนวน ๑ ราย ทำบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนจำนวน ๓๕ ราย รวมถึงงานนิติกรณ์ รับรองเอกสาร และให้คำปรึกษางานกงสุลแก่ชุมชนไทย จำนวน ๒๖ ราย 

ในการนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณวัดพุทธสามัคคี เมืองไครสต์เชิร์ช ตลอดจนชุมชนชาวไทยในพื้นที่ และอาสาสมัครทุกท่านที่ให้ความร่วมมือช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนที่มารับบริการในครั้งนี้อย่างดียิ่ง โดยในครั้งต่อไป สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ มีกำหนดจัดบริการกงสุลสัญจร ณ วัดพุทธสามัคคี เมืองเนลสัน ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๑๕ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๘

On 5 - 7 March 2025, The Royal Thai Embassy, Wellington organised a consular mobile unit for the Thai community in Christchurch at Wat Buddha Samakhee Buddhist temple to provide consular services such as Thai passports, Emergency Travel Document, Thai ID cards, and advice on consular legalization services.

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to express appreciation and extend its gratitude to Wat Buddha Samakhee Buddhist temple for providing facilities, equipment, and the Thai community and volunteers to provide their kind cooperation to the embassy's consular mission.
