เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๘ นางกรรณมน เสนาณรงค์ อุปทูตฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีทอดผ้าป่าบริวารกฐิน “ซื้อที่ดิน” ถวายวัดพระธรรมกายเวลลิงตัน

กิจกรรมในช่วงเช้า ประกอบด้วยการทำวัตรสวดมนต์ นั่งสมาธิ แผ่เมตตา ทำบุญตักบาตร ถวายเครื่องไทยธรรมและภัตตาหารแด่พระภิกษุสงฆ์ รวมทั้งกรวดน้ำรับพร ส่วนในช่วงบ่ายเป็นพิธีถวายผ้าป่าบริวารกฐินและถวายจตุปัจจัยกฐิน นอกจากนี้ ทางวัดและผู้มีจิตศรัทธายังได้ร่วมกันจัดโรงทานเลี้ยงผู้เข้าร่วมงาน ซึ่งมีชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์เข้าร่วมกว่า ๖๐ คน

สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอร่วมอนุโมทนาบุญกับพุทธศาสนิกชนทุกท่าน และขออำนาจแห่งผลบุญกุศลครั้งนี้ดลบันดาลให้ชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์และครอบครัวประสบแต่ความสุข ความเจริญ สุขภาพแข็งแรง และสมปรารถนาในสิ่งอันเป็นกุศลทั้งปวง

On 26 October 2025, Mrs. Kanamon Senanarong, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., together with an official and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington, attended the Subsidiary Kathina Robes Offering Ceremony for Land Purchase at Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Wellington.

The morning programme included chanting, meditation, alms offering, presentation of offerings and meals to the monks, and water-pouring merit dedication. In the afternoon, the temple held the subsidiary Kathina robes offering and the presentation of Kathina contributions. The temple and devotees also organised a charity food stall for all participants. The ceremony was attended by more than 60 members of the Thai community in New Zealand.

The Royal Thai Embassy joins in rejoicing with all Buddhists on this meritorious occasion and wishes that the merits accrued may bring happiness, prosperity, good health, and fulfilment of all virtuous aspirations to the Thai community in New Zealand and their families.
