เมื่อวันที่ 4 ตุลาคม 2568 นายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เป็นประธานเปิดการแข่งขันกีฬาสีสัมพันธ์ ประจำปี 2568 (Interstate Sport Game 2025) ณ Wentworth Park Spoting Complex นครซิดนีย์ ซึ่งจัดโดยสมาคมนักเรียนไทยในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ (Thai Student Association of New South Wales - TSA NSW) ร่วมกับสมาคมนักเรียนไทยจาก 4 มหาวิทยาลัยในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ ประกอบไปด้วย Sydney University Thai Students Association (SU Thai), Thai Student Society UNSW (TSS), UTS Thai Society (UTS Thai) และ Thai Students Association (MQ Thai) รวมทั้งมีสมาคมนักเรียนไทยจากรัฐวิกตอเรียและควีนส์แลนด์ ได้แก่ Melbourne University Thai Student Association (TSA-MELB) และ University of Queensland Thai Student Association (UQ TSA) เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ด้วย
ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ กล่าวชื่นชมความร่วมมือและความสามัคคีของนักเรียนไทยในออสเตรเลียที่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจจัดและเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าว ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างนักเรียนไทยจากรัฐต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งยังเป็นการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือที่เข้มแข็งในหมู่นักเรียนไทย พร้อมทั้งให้กำลังใจในการดำเนินกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมไทยในต่างแดนอย่างต่อเนื่อง
นอกจากนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังกล่าวถึงความสำคัญของการเล่นกีฬา ว่าเป็นกิจกรรมที่มีประโยชน์ต่อทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ ช่วยเสริมสร้างสุขภาพที่ดี ฝึกความมีน้ำใจนักกีฬา และเป็นช่องทางสำคัญในการสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีและมิตรภาพระหว่างเพื่อนนักเรียนไทยในต่างแดนจากหลากหลายสถาบัน บรรยากาศการจัดกิจกรรมเต็มไปด้วยความสนุกสนาน โดยมีกีฬาหลากหลายประเภท เช่น ฟุตบอล วิ่งผลัด วิ่งวิบาก และวิ่งกระสอบทราย เป็นต้น
On 4 October 2025, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, presided over the opening ceremony of the Interstate Sport Game 2025 at Wentworth Park Sporting Complex, Sydney. The event was organised by the Thai Student Association of New South Wales (TSA NSW) in collaboration with Thai student associations from four universities in New South Wales, namely the Sydney University Thai Students Association (SU Thai), Thai Student Society UNSW (TSS), UTS Thai Society (UTS Thai), and Thai Students Association (MQ Thai). The event also welcomed the participation of Thai student associations from Victoria and Queensland, namely the Melbourne University Thai Student Association (TSA-MELB) and the University of Queensland Thai Student Association (UQ TSA).
On this occasion, the Consul-General commended the collaboration and unity among Thai students in Australia who jointly organised and joined the event. He noted that this annual gathering is as an important platform to strengthen friendship and cooperation among Thai students from various states, while fostering a strong network of Thai student communities overseas. He also expressed his appreciation for their continued efforts to carry out activities that benefit the Thai community abroad.
In addition, the Consul-General highlighted the importance of sports, noting that engaging in sports activities is beneficial to both physical and mental well-being. He remarked that sports cultivate sportsmanship, promote good health, and serve as a meaningful avenue to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship among Thai students from diverse institutions across Australia.
The event was held in a lively and friendly atmosphere, featuring a variety of sports competitions such as football, relay races, obstacle runs, and sack races.
