สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน จัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันนวมินทรมหาราช ๑๓ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๖

เนื่องใน “วันนวมินทรมหาราช” เพื่อน้อมรำลึกวันคล้ายวันสวรรคต พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ๑๓ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๖ นายวราวุธ ภู่อภิญญา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้นำข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์ ร่วมวางพวงมาลาถวายราชสักการะ และจุดเทียนเพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ณ ที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน พร้อมนี้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ร่วมทำบุญตักบาตรและถวายเพลแด่พระภิกษุสงฆ์ จำนวน ๙ รูปเพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า ๘๐ คน

พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร มีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณล้นเกล้าล้นกระหม่อมแก่ประชาชนชาวไทยตลอด ๗๐ ปีแห่งรัชสมัยของพระองค์ ทรงบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจน้อยใหญ่นานัปการเพื่อความวิวัฒน์พัฒนาของบ้านเมือง เป็นคุณประโยชน์อเนกอนันต์ และยังความผาสุกร่มเย็นแก่พสกนิกรชาวไทย พระเกียรติคุณเป็นที่แซ่ซ้องประจักษ์ทั้งแก่ปวงชนชาวไทยและนานาอารยประเทศ

อนึ่ง เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ ๑๓ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๖ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้ร่วมกับสมาคมคนไทยและชุมชนคนไทยในกรุงเวลลิงตัน ทำกิจกรรมจิตอาสาทำความดีบริจาคโลหิตที่ Wellington Donor Centre, Newtown เพื่อช่วยเหลือคนที่ต้องการโลหิตอีกด้วย

To commemorate the "Nawamintha Maharaj Day" in honour of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day on 13 October 2023, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya led the Embassy staff, along with the Thai Community in New Zealand, to perform merit-making ceremonies to express their gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable contributions of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great to Thailand and the Thai people, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington. His Majesty's dedication has left an indelible mark on Thailand's advancement and well-being. His commitment to the betterment of the nation has not only resulted in tangible progress but has also fostered happiness and peace among the Thai people. His legacy is not confined to Thailand alone; it is recognized and admired by peoples around the world who value his significant roles and contributions.

Commemorations are essential in preserving the enduring legacy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and reminding us of all positive impact he had on Thailand and its people. His Majesty's devotion to his nation and his people continues to inspire and serve as a shining example of leadership and dedication to the greater good.

On this occasion, on Friday 13 October 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, and the Thai community also did volunteer activities by donating blood to the blood bank of New Zealand in honour of His Majesty.
