เมื่อวันที่ ๘ มี.ค. ๒๕๖๖ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทยร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศอาเซียนประจำกรุงเวลลิงตัน (ASEAN Committee in Wellington) และกลุ่มชมรมสตรีอาเซียนประจำกรุงเวลลิงตัน (ASEAN Ladies Circle Wellington) จัดงานสัมมนาต่อต้านความรุนแรงภายในครอบครัว (Say "NO" to Domestic Violence) ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันสตรีสากล โดยเชิญผู้บรรยายจากองค์กรที่รณรงค์และให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบความรุนแรงภายในครอบครัวในนิวซีแลนด์ ได้แก่ Mr. Rob McCann, Manager, White Ribbon Campaign, Ms. Suzanne Manning, President, National Council of Women of New Zealand และ Ms. Philippa McAtee, Manager, Wellington Women's Refuge โดยการสัมมนามีการหารือเเลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นระหว่างผู้บรรยายและผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาอย่างกว้างขวางเกี่ยวกับนโยบายและแนวปฏิบัติของนิวซีแลนด์และกลุ่มประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน ทั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนากว่า ๖๐ คนมาจากภาคส่วนต่างๆ ได้แก่ คณะทูตานุทูต ภาครัฐ องค์กรไม่แสวงผลกำไร และภาควิชาการของนิวซีแลนด์

On the occasion of International Women's Day, 8 March 2023, the ASEAN Committee in Wellington in collaboration with the ASEAN Ladies Circle Wellington organized the Say "NO" to Domestic Violence Seminar at the Royal Thai Embassy, inviting speakers Mr. Rob McCann, Manager, White Ribbon Campaign, Ms. Suzanne Manning, President, National Council of Women of New Zealand, and Ms. Philippa McAtee, Manager, Wellington Women's Refuge to discuss about their work in advocating against domestic violence and victims of domestic violence in New Zealand. Speakers and participants exchanged views on policies and practices between ASEAN member states and New Zealand. There were over 60 participants from diplomatic corps, public sectors, local NGOs and think tanks.
