ตามที่นางคัง คยอง – ฮวา ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี เมื่อวันที่ ๑๘ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๐ นั้น นายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนางคัง คยอง – ฮวา รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ดังนี้
