Excellency, 

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend my warmest wishes to you and, through you, to the Royal Government of Cambodia and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the auspicious occasion of the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-Cambodia diplomatic relations on 19 December 2020.

Looking back, our two countries have come a long way. Through “Partnership for Peace and Prosperity”, we have worked hand in hand to promote peace, stability, and development that have benefitted our peoples and beyond.   

As we celebrate the 70^th anniversary of our diplomatic relations, I am very pleased that our relations have never been closer and stronger, with cooperation cutting across all levels and sectors. Together, we have also worked to enhance our physical, institutional and people-to-people connectivity. Among others, we have invested greatly in our human capital whereby more than 2,400 scholarships and fellowships have been awarded over the past decade. In the face of emerging infectious diseases, including COVID-19, we have strengthened our cooperation on public health, especially along the border areas. Indeed, our collaboration in diverse fields has made a difference in improving the lives of so many people.

Looking ahead, I firmly believe that, based on the trust and goodwill we have cultivated over the past 70 years and years to come, our strong partnership will continue to prosper. Our new generations will carry on the torch of our enduring friendship into an ever stronger future.

Your Excellency, Dear DPM

I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand.

I am pleased to note that over the last 70 years, based on the spirit of good neighborliness, fraternal solidarity and mutual respects, our two countries have enjoyed a close partnership and multifaceted cooperation.

In this special occasion, I would like to reiterate my strong commitment to work closely with Your Excellency to expand mutually beneficial cooperation bilaterally and internationally for the sake of sustainable prosperity of our two kingdoms, our region and the world at large.
