เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2568 นายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่คณะผู้แทนจากสวัสดิภาพสมาคม (Thai Welfare Association) เพื่อเป็นการพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานและแนวทางความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และสมาคมในการให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่ชุมชนไทยในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ โดยมีคุณตติยา นาที เฮสตี้ ประธานสมาคม ศาสตราจารย์ Tony Moon ตลอดจนคณะกรรมการ เจ้าหน้าที่ อาสาสมัคร และผู้สนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของสมาคม เข้าร่วมงานด้วย

ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ กล่าวขอบคุณสวัสดิภาพสมาคมที่ทุ่มเททำงานเพื่อประโยชน์ของชุมชนไทยในออสเตรเลียมาโดยตลอด รวมถึงให้ความร่วมมือและสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ อย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมยืนยันว่าการดำเนินงานของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ จะมุ่งสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของสมาคมอย่างใกล้ชิดต่อไป ขณะเดียวกัน ประธานสมาคมแสดงความขอบคุณต่อผู้สนับสนุนทุกท่านที่มีส่วนร่วมผลักดันภารกิจของสมาคมให้ดำเนินไปด้วยดีเสมอมา

ในโอกาสเดียวกัน สมาคมได้มอบประกาศนียบัตรเกียรติคุณ แก่คุณศุภชัย โอส่าห์กิจ จาก Pratan Attorneys เพื่อแสดงความขอบคุณในการให้การสนับสนุนทุนแก่สมาคม โดยทุนดังกล่าวมาจากโครงการให้คำปรึกษาด้านกฎหมาย ซึ่งสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ จัดขึ้นร่วมกับสำนักงาน Pratan Attorneys เพื่อให้บริการให้คำปรึกษาและคำแนะนำด้านกฎหมายแก่คนไทยในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์โดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย

On 20 October 2025, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, hosted a dinner for representatives of the Thai Welfare Association (TWA) as an opportunity to exchange views on the Association’s activities and explore areas of cooperation between the Royal Thai Consulate-General and the TWA in assisting the Thai community in New South Wales. Attendees included Ms. Tatiya Hastie, President of the Association, Professor Tony Moon, together with members of the Executive Committee, staff, volunteers, and supporters of the Association.

On this occasion, the Consul-General expressed his appreciation to the Thai Welfare Association for its continued dedication to supporting and assisting the Thai community in Australia, as well as for its consistent cooperation with the Consulate-General in various activities. He also reaffirmed the Consulate-General’s commitment to continue supporting the activities of the Association. The President of the Association also extended her gratitude to all supporters and volunteers for their contribution and commitment in advancing the Association’s mission.

During the event, the Association presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Supachai Osakit from Pratan Attorneys in recognition of his financial support to the Association. The contribution was made possible through the Legal Consultation Project, jointly organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Pratan Attorneys, which provides free legal advice and consultation services to Thai nationals residing in New South Wales.
