เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ กันยายน ๒๕๖๖ เวลา ๑๗.๐๐ น. นายวราวุธ ภู่อภิญญา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้เข้าร่วมการอบรมหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศชั้นสูง (Advanced Oral Communication Course - AOCC) รุ่นที่ ๑๗ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้บริหารจากหน่วยราชการต่าง ๆ ของประเทศไทย จำนวน ๑๗ คน ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ 

การฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรดังกล่าว จัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ มีกำหนดศึกษาและฝึกอบรม ระหว่างวันที่ ๙ – ๒๔ กันยายน ๒๕๖๖ ณ Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) กรุงเวลลิงตัน เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการสื่อสารด้วยภาษาอังกฤษของผู้บริหารระดับสูง            

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับภาพรวมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - นิวซีแลนด์ บทบาทของนิวซีแลนด์ในเวทีระหว่างประเทศและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับประเทศหมู่เกาะแปซิฟิก ที่อยู่ในเขตอาณาของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ รวมถึงการดำเนินโครงการต่าง ๆ ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมและผลักดันความร่วมมือในระดับต่าง ๆ ตามนโยบายสำคัญของรัฐบาล อาทิ Thailand ๔.๐, SEP for SDGs ความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตร นวัตกรรมและความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา

On the 11th of September 2023, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya welcomed 17 delegates from various government agencies of Thailand participating in the 17th Advanced Oral Communication Course (AOCC) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington. 

The AOCC course is organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, with training scheduled to take place during 9 - 24 September 2023 at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) to increase English communication efficiency for senior executives.

The Ambassador provided a brief overview of Thai-New Zealand relations, New Zealand's international roles as well as relations between Thailand and the Pacific island countries under the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Embassy. The briefing included topics on the implementation of various projects of the Embassy that aim to promote and enhance cooperation at various levels through important government policies such as Thailand 4.0, SEP for SDGs, agricultural cooperation, innovation and cooperation in education.
