On 17 September 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, discussed with H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy, Ambassador of Türkiye to Thailand, to exchage views on climate action in both countries.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of Türkiye requested Thailand’s support for Türkiye’s candidacy to host the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31) in 2026.
